About The Travel Training Program

If you are a resident or visitor to Hillsborough County, you are eligible for HART's Travel Training Program. This program is designed to properly train consumers how to use the HART system.

A HART representative will give you step-by-step instructions on how to use the transit guide, read a passenger schedule, and how to ride the bus. You will receive route schedules, a transit guide and informational brochures to get you acquainted with HART. Additional training trips can be arranged. Disabled persons are also eligible provided their disability does not require special assistance or specifically trained personnel.

As an added bonus, your first ride on HART with your Travel Training is free.

How To Get Started

Call HART's Travel Training Department at (813) 623-5835, extensions 1105 for English or 1240 for Spanish and ask for the Travel Training Coordinator.
Schedule a convenient time to ride with your Travel Trainer.
