How much is a day pass?
A standard 1-day HART fare card is $3.75. Discounts are available for students, seniors, the disabled and children under the age of 17. See "How do I get a fare card" below for more information on the ways to purchase a fare card.
Are there any discounts for college students?
Special discounts are available for a number of colleges in Hillsborough County. For more information regarding the HART Adult Student Fare program, click here.
How do I get a fare card?
Fare cards can be purchased from a number of outlets including: online, HART sales outlets and on the buses. For more information, visit our fares page.
What if I don't have exact change?
Exact change is required on HART buses, as our Operators do not provide change. A few options are available to you, should you find yourself without exact change.
1. Purchase your fare card at any HART sales outlet (including Amscot, Westshore Plaza, and all HART facilities). 2. Pay above the retail price (change will not be provided). 3. Purchase your pass ahead of time from the HART online store.
What if I lose my fare card?
If you have lost your HART fare card, please contact HART Lost and Found at (813) 229-2986. Think you lost it on a HART bus? Please wait to call until 10 a.m. the following morning. Our cleaning crews usually turn in any lost fare cards by that time.
