The Republican National Convention (RNC) is taking place in Tampa from August 27-30. HART plans to operate all routes and services, and transporting customers safely will be our No. 1 goal during RNC.

Current HART customers and downtown workers who wish to take HART to work should plan in advance and allow for extra time, and sign up for RNC Rider Alerts to receive the latest on detours and schedule changes.

Bus detours are taking effect Aug. 25 - 31. Information is subject to change pending changes in road closures and security demands.

TECO Line Streetcar Service:

The TECO Line Streetcar will only provide service between Station 1 (Centennial Park Station at 8th Avenue and 20th Street) to Station 8 (Tampa Tribune Station at Channelside Drive and Meridian Avenue) during the RNC. Stations 9, 10 and 11 will be closed Aug. 25 - Aug. 31 (service will resume Sept. 1). The streetcar will operate extended service until 1 a.m. from Aug. 27-30.
